The CU Public Interest Internship Experience (PIIE) program is open for applications! PIIE internships empower students to make a positive impact in the Boulder/Denver communities by partnering with local non-profit and government organizations. If you are a student who is passionate about strengthening our community and environment, PIIE is the right program for you! This upcoming summer, they are excited to be working with:
- Chef Ann Foundation
- City of Boulder
- City of Boulder- Parks and Recreation
- City of Lafayette
- Colorado Community Action Association
- I Have a Dream Foundation
- Intercambio
- KGNU
- NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Boulder County
- YMCA of Northern Colorado
Not only will PIIE interns gain valuable experience, but they will also receive a $7560 stipend for about 360 hours over the summer! In addition, interns will participate in professional development, have access to advisors, and interact with other interns to network and gain additional skills.
