Located in Norlin Library's Underground West Gallery on the first floor, the exhibit Waging Peace in Vietnam: U.S. Soldiers and Veterans Who Opposed the War is available for viewing. As part of the exhibit events, an essay contest is being hosted that requires students to write a 500-650 word essay that reflects on the exhibit. Famous photojournalist Nick Ut, known for his photograph "The Napalm Girl," will be selecting the winner of the contest. The winner of the contest will receive a $500 prize! The deadline is December 13th, so make sure to submit your essays to Linda.Yarr@colorado.edu by then.

In addition to the essay writing contest, a number of events from October 30th to December 13th relating to the exhibit will take place. A documentary, talks, panel discussions, and other events will be held in honor of the exhibit.
